This notification amends Notification No. No. 16/2000-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2000 19th April, 2000 Notification No. 46/2000-Customs In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it in necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finace (Department of Revenue), No. 16/2000-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2000, namely:- In the said notification, (a) in the TABLE,- (i) for S.No. "94" and the entries relating therto, the following serial No. and the entries shall be substituted, namely,- (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) "94. 32,34,38,39,83 or any other Chapter (a) Electric parts for fitting on electric Iamp/table Iamp/wall Iamp/ceiling Iamp/door Iamp/window Iamp/garden Iamp; (b) Hinges, metal locks and back of photo frames, and fittings for photo frame/box; (c) Max items for candle holder/votive/cup; (d) Chemical/lacquer required for improved finish of export product;0 (e) Motifs for attachment on export product; (f) Severe atmospheric corrosion inhibitor (SACI) used as rust preventive concentrate for coating on ornamental painted and unpainted Cast Iron Art ware. (g) Heat resistant paint used on cast iron items for ornamental fire place accessories. (h) Wood polish materials. (i) Ply films used for shrink - wrapping and cling wrapping of art wares:. Nil Nil 10 (ii) for S.No. "344" and the entries relating thereto, the following serial No. and the entries shall be substituted, namely,- (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) "344. Any chapter (1) Fastners and poly- wadding materials. (2) Inlay cards. (3) Shoulder pads. (4) Buckles. (5) Eyelets. (6) Hooks and eyes. (7) Rivets. (8) Coller stays, collar patties, butterfly and other garment stays including plastic stays. (9) Fusible embroidry motifs or prints. (10) Laces. (11) Badges including embroidered badges. (12) Valcro tape. (13) Embroidery threads." Nil Nil 83 (B) In ANNEXURE,- (i) against condition No. 10, in sub-conditions (b), for the figures "2x" the figures "3x", shall be substituted. (ii) against condition No. 83, in sub-conditions (b), for the figures "2x", the figures "3x", shall be substituted.
