Amendment in Notification No. S.O. 579(E), dated 31st July, 1992 NOTIFICATION NO. S.O.840 ( E ) DATED 22-11-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( b ) of the Explanation to section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government on the recommendations of the National Committee hereby amends the Notification of the Government India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. S.O. 579(E), dated 31st July, 1992, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3, sub-section ( ii ), as follows, namely :-- In the Table of the said notification, against serial number 2, in column (3), for the words " (c) Construction of school building in four villages ", the words " (c) Construction of school building in three villages " shall be substituted.
