SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 2nd May, 1997 S.O. 364 (E)- Securities and Exchange Board of India, having considered the application for renewal of recognition made under Section 3 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 (42 of 1956) read with the Rule 7 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation), Rules, 1957 by Cochin Stock Exchange Limited, Cochin (herein referred to as the Exchange ) and in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the said Act, being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public interest so to do, hereby grants recognition to the Exchange under Section 4 of the said Act, for a further period of one year commencing on the 8th day of May, 1997 and ending on the 7th day of May, 1998, in respect of contracts in securities.
