SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 7th December, 1996 S.O. 855(E).- Securities and Exchange Board of India, having considered the application for renewal of recognition made under section 3 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 (42 of 1956) read with Rule 7 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation), Rules, 1957 by Magadh Stock Exchange Association, Patna (herein referred to as the Exchange ) and in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the said Act, being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public interest so to do, hereby grants recognition to the Exchange under Section 4 of the said Act for a further period of one year commencing on the 11th day of December, 1996 and ending on the 10th day of December 1997, in respect of contracts in securities.
