SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION Bombay, the 7th September, 1995 SEBI/LE-1/9/95.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992, the Securities and Exchange Board of India hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the SEBI (Merchant Bankers) Regulations, 1992. 1. (i) These regulations may be called the SEBI (Merchant Bankers) Amendment Regulations, 1995. (ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In sub-regulation (2) of regulation 7 of the SEB) (Merchant Bankers) Regulations, 1992, the figure Rs. 1,00,00,000 appearing under the column Minimum Amount be substituted by the figure Rs, 5,00,00,000 .
