Central Government de-notifies an area of 53.5295 hectares at Vadamugam Kangeyampalayam Village, Perundurai Taluk, Erode District in the State of Tamil Nadu, thereby making the resultant area as 50.1162 hectares - S.O. 3205(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 30th August, 2019 S.O. 3205(E).- Whereas, M/s. IG3 Infra Limited (formerly M/s. ETL Infrastructure Services Ltd. and M/s. Indian Green Grid Group Ltd.), had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Textile sector at Vadamugam Kangeyampalayam Village, Perundurai Taluk, Erode District in the State of Tamil Nadu; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , had notified an area of 103.6457 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Gazette Notification Number S.O. 1418(E) dated 09th June, 2008; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. IG3 Infra Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 53.5295 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No. 10307/MIE.2/2018-2 24th July, 2019; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, MEPZ, SEZ has recommended the proposal for denotification of an area of 53.5295 hectares of the Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 53.5295 hectares at Vadamugam Kangeyampalayam Village, Perundurai Taluk, Erode District in the State of Tamil Nadu, thereby making the resultant area as 50.1162 hectares, comprising the Survey numbers and the areas given below in the table, namely:- TABLE FOR DE-NOTIFICATION AREA Sl.
