No. 1037/2019 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Kerala State Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019 (42 of 2019), the Government of Kerala hereby appoints the 1st day of January, 2020, as the date on which the provisions of all sections except sections 3, 8, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 of the said Ordinance, shall come into force. Explanatory Note (This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport) As per sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Kerala State Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019, the said ordinance shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette appoint. Accordingly, the Government have decided to notify the appointed date of certain sections of the Kerala State Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019 (42 of 2019). The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
