Amendment in Notification No. 89/2019/TAXES. dated 10th June, 2019 - S.R.O. No. 662/2019 - Kerala SGST

No. 662/2019 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 148 of the Kerala State Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (20 of 2017), the Government of Kerala, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby make the following further amendment to the notification issued under G.O.(P) No.89/2019/TAXES. dated 10th June, 2019 and published as S.R.O. No.395/2019 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.1354 dated 19th June, 2019, namely: In the said notification, in paragraph 2, in the proviso, for the figures, letters and words 31st day of July, 2019 , the figures, letters and words, 31st day of August, 2019 shall be substituted. 2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force on the 29th day of July, 2019. By order of the Governor, RAJESH KUMAR SINGH., Principal Secretary to Government. Explanatory Note (This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) On recommendation of the Goods and Services Tax Council, the Government of Kerala have notified the procedure for quarterly tax payment and annual filing of return for persons paying tax under the provisions of section 10 of the Kerala State Goods and Services Tax Act (20 of 2017) or by availing the benefit of notification issued under G.O.(P) No.66/2019/TAXES dated 30th March, 2019 and published as S.R.O. No. 256/2019 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 882 dated 30th March, 2019. Now, the Government of Kerala, on recommendations of the Goods and Services Tax Council, and on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, have decided to extend the last date for furnishing FORM GST CMP-08. The notification is intended to achieve the above object
