MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) (SEZ Division) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 23rd February, 2023 S.O. 871(E). WHEREAS, M/s. V. R. Enterprises had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for IT/ITES Sector at Ananthasagar Village, Hasanparthy Mandal, Warangal District in the State of Telangana (erstwhile Andhra Pradesh); AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules 2006 , had notified an area of 10.12 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification number S.O. 1560(E) dated 17 th September, 2007 ; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. V. R. Enterprises has now proposed to de-notify the entire area of 10.12 hectares of the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Telangana has given No Objection Certificate to the proposal vide letter No. 1371/IT C/Prom2/2006 dated 02nd March, 2022. Further, the de-notified land will be utilized as per the Land Use-Guidelines/Master plans of the Government of Telangana; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal for de-notification of entire area of 10.12 hectares of the Special Economic Zone; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by first proviso to rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , the Central Government hereby rescinds the above notification except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
