Seeks to come into force of Certain provisions of the Assam Goods and Services Tax (Eighth Amendment) Rules, 2021 - eCF No. 35120/142 - Assam SGST

GOVERNMENT OF ASSAM Notification eCF No. 35120/142, dated May 10, 2023. In pursuance of sub-rule (2) of rule 1 of the Assam Goods and Services Tax (Eighth Amendment) Rules, 2021 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules ), notified vide notification No. FTX. 56/2017/Pt-II/723 dated the 29th July, 2022 issued by the Finance (Taxation) Department, Government of Assam, published in the Assam Gazette, Extraordinary No. 555 dated the 30th July, 2022, the Governor of Assam is hereby pleased to notify the 1st day of January, 2022, as the date from which the provisions of rule 10A as at Sl. No.2, rule 10B as at Sl. No.3, rule 89 as at clause (i) of Sl. No. 7 and rule 96 as at Sl. No.8 of the said rules, shall come into force. This notification shall be deemed to have been issued on 21st day of December, 2021
