Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Rules, 1977 - S.O. 860 (E) - Foreign Contribution (Regulation)

MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 29 th December 1977 S.O. 860(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 30 of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 (49 of 1976) the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Rules, 1976 , namely 1. (1) These rules may be called the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Rules, 1977 (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Rules, 1976 , - (a) in cause (b) of rule 3 , offer the words and figure under Section 9 , the words brackets letter And figures or clause (d) of Section 10, shall be inserted; (b) in rule 4, for clause (a) of, the following clause shall be substituted, namely (a) foreign contribution by an association referred to in sub-section (1) of section 6 shall be given for every half-year beginning on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July every year, in Form FC-3 in duplicate, within thirty days of the closure of the half year, ; (c) in rule 8 , for sub-rule (2) the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely. (2) Every account specified In sub-rule (1) shall be maintained on an yearly basis, commencing on the 1st day of January each year and every such yearly account, duly certified by a chartered accountant, shall be furnished, in duplicate, to the Secretary to the Government of India, in the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, within sixty days of the closure of the year. ; (d) in Form FC-2 In item 7, (i) for sub-Item (a), the following sub-item shall be substituted, namely. (a) Member of a Legislature, , (ii) for clause (e), the following clause shall be substituted, namely: (e) any person or class of person and specified in Section 9 [No. II/21022/4(2)/77-FCRA-I] J. C.
