Goods to which provisions of Chapter VIIA of Excise Rules apply - Amendment to Notification No. 23/86-C.E. Notification No. 7/93-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 14-10-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 173A of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 23/86-Central Excises, dated the 10th February, 1986, namely :- In the said notification, for the Table annexed thereto, the following Table shall be substituted, namely :- "THE TABLE (a) Cigarettes falling under Chapter 24 (b) Matches falling under Chapter 36."
