Matches packed in boxes of not exceeding 40 matches - Amendment to Notification No. 116/85-C.E Notification No. 117/95-C.E. Dated 4-12-1995 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 116/85-Central Excises, dated the 8th May, 1985, namely:- In the Table annexed to the said notification, against Sl. No. 3, in column (2), for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:- "Matches packed in boxes/packs of not exceeding 40 matches."
