Yarn - Twisted nylon/viscose filament yarn - Amendment to Notification No. 35/95-C.E. Notification No. 115/95-CE Dated 03-Nov-1995 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Additional Duties of Excise (Textiles and Textile Articles) Act, 1978 (40 of 1978), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 35/95-Central Excises, dated the 16th March, 1995, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, for S. No. 2B and the entries relating thereto, the following S. Nos. and the entries shall be substituted, namely, - (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) "2B. 54 Twisted nylon filament yarn (other than double or multifold including cabled yarn and sewing thread) Nil If manufactured out of nylon filament yarn, including crimped or textured nylon filament yarn, falling within Chapter 54 of the said Schedule, on which the appropriate duty of excise under the said Schedule, or as the case may be, the additional duty leviable under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), has already been paid. 2C. 54 Twisted viscose filament yarn (other than double or multifold including cabled yarn and sewing thread) Nil If manufactured out of viscose filament yarn, including textured viscose filament yarn, falling within Chapter 54 of the said Schedule, on which the appropriate duty of excise under the said Schedule, or as the case may be, the additional duty leviable under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), has already been paid."
