Plastic materials exempted if processed from scrap or waste Notification No. 111/95-C.E. Dated 6-9-1995 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 15/94-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1994, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, after Sl. No. 3 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) "3A 39.01 to 39.14 Plastic materials Nil If,- (i) reprocessed from, or produced out of, the scrap or the waste of goods falling under Chapter 39, 54, 55 or 59; and (ii) such reprocessing or production is done in India."
