Effective rates for Electric motors and generators - Amendments to Notifications No. 51/93 No. 52/93-C.E. Notification No. 95/93-C.E. Dated 27-9-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) specified in the column (2) of the Table hereto an nexed, shall be amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. TABLE S. No. Notification No. and Date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. No. 51/93-Central Excises, dated 28th February, 1993 In the Table annexed to the said notification, after S. No. 20 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and the entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "21 85.01 and 85.02 All goods"; 2. No. 52/93-Central Excises, dated 28th February, 1993. In the Table annexed to the said notification, S. No. 5 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
