All Industry Drawback Rates - Amendment to Notification No. 22/97-Cus. (N.T.) Notification No. 39/97-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 10-9-1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 3, read with rule 4 of the Customs and Central Excise Duties Drawback Rules, 1995 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the Notification No. 22/97-Customs (N.T.), dated the 30th May, 1997, of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, with effect from 10th day of September, 1997, namely :- (a) In the said Notification, - in General Note 2, in clause (b), in the first proviso, for the words, figures and letters "No. 80/95-Cus., dated 31st March, 1995", the words, figures and letters "No. 80/95-Cus., dated 31st March, 1995, or against Advance Licences issued on or after 1st April, 1997 in discharge of export obligation in terms of Notification No. 31/97-Customs, dated the 1st April, 1977" shall be sustituted. (b) In the Table, for the entries in columns 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, against Serial/Sub-serial Nos. mentioned in column 1 of the Annexure, the entries in columns 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the said Annexure shall respectively be substituted.
