Exchange rates for export goods - Amendment to Notification No. 76/98-Cus. (N.T.) Notification No. 78/98-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 7-10-1998 In pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899) and sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 76/98-NT-Cus. [S.O. 855 (E)], dated 24th September, 1998, namely :- In the Schedule-I of the said Notification for Serial No. 2, 5 14 and Schedule-II of the said notification for Serial No. 1, the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :- Sl. No. Foreign Currency Rate of exchange of one unit of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees 2. Australian Dollar 25.25 5. Deutsche Mark 25.90 14 Singapore Dollar 25.05 SCHEDULE-II Sl. No. Foreign Currency Rate of exchange of 100 units of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees 1. Belgian Francs 125.20 This rate will be effective from 8th October, 1998.
