Exchange rates for export goods - Amendment to Notification No. 46/98-Cus.(N.T.) Notification No. 50/98-Cus.(N.T.) Dated 13-8-1998 In pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899) and sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 46/98-NT-Cus. [S.O. 639 (E)], dated 29th July, 1998 namely :- In the Schedule-I of the said Notification for serial No. 14 and Schedule-II of the said Notification for serial No. 1 the entries relating thereto, the following, shall be substituted, namely :- SCHEDULE-I Sl. No. Foreign Currency Rate of exchange of one unit of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees 14. U.S. Dollar 43.06 SCHEDULE-II Sl. No. Foreign Currency Rate of exchange of 100 units of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees 1. Belgian Francs 117.23 This rate will be effective from 14th August, 1998.
