Customs ports - Appointment for specified purposes - Notification No. 62/94-Cus. (N.T.) amended Notification No. 5/96-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 24-1-1996 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 62/94 (N.T.)-Customs, dated the 21st November, 1994, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, against serial number 1, relating to Andaman and Nicobar, in column (4), for the entries, relating to Port Blair, the following shall be substituted, namely :- "Unloading of imported goods and loading of export goods or any class of such goods.".
