Notification No. 12/139/59/Ad. IIIB amended - 04/96 - Customs - Non Tariff

Notification No. 12/139/59/Ad. IIIB amended Notification No. 4/96-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 22-1-1996 Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, hereby make the following amendment in the Ministry's Notification No. 12/139/59. Ad. IIIB, dated 5-11-1962 as amended :- (a) In Paragraph 1, in sub-para (a), in item (i), the words "officers and staff of the Customs, Central Excise and Land Customs Department" shall be substituted, namely :- "Officers and staff of the Customs, Central Excise, Directorate of Enforcement and Narcotic Control Bureau in the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance." (b) In paragraph 1, in sub-paragraph (e), the words, "Customs, Central Excise Land Customs Department" shall be substituted, namely :- "Customs and Central Excise Departments, Directorate of Enforcement Narcotics Control Bureau." (c) In paragraph 1, sub-para (j), for the words, "Customs/Central Excise Land Customs Department" shall be substituted, namely :- "Customs and Central Excise Departments and Directorate of Enforcement and Narcotics Control Bureau." (d) In paragraph 4, the words, "twenty five" in line (2) be substituted by the word, "thirty" and the word, "thirty" in line (4) shall be substituted by the words, "thirty five" respectively.
