Amendment to Notification No. 75-Cus., dated 3-7-1975 - 23/93 - Customs - Non Tariff

Amendment to Notification No. 75-Cus., dated 3-7-1975 Notification No. 23/93-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 10-3-1993 [Amend at page 4.74 of Customs Law Manual 1993-94] In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 75-Cus-toms, dated the 3rd July, 1975, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, against Serial No. (2) relating to Jaipur, in column (3), - (a) in item (a), after sub-item (iv), the following sub-item shall be inserted, namely :- "(v) gem and jewellery machinery, its parts, including diamond plates and testing apparatus, (vi) Roughs of corals, amber and pearls"; (b) in item (b), after sub-item (ix), the following sub-item shall be inserted, namely :- "(x) roughs of semi-precious stones produced in India and pre-forms (xi) cut and polished corals and pearls".
