Baggage - Amendment to Notification No. 137/90-Cus. Notification No. 46/92-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 19-6-1992 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 137/90-Cus., dated the 20th March, 1990 namely :- In the said notification, - (a) the words "prior to his departure" at both the places where they occur, shall be omitted; (b) in condition (v) relating to clause (a), for the words "twenty four thousand", the words "thirty thousand" shall be substituted; (c) in condition (vi) relating to clause (b), for the words "one lakh twenty thousand", the words "one lakh fifty thousand" shall be substituted.
