Imports against Special imprest licence - Amendment to Notification No. 36/97-Cus. Notification No. 114/99-Cus. Dated 8-10-1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 36/97-Customs, dated the 11th April, 1997, namely :- In the Explanation to the said notification, in clause (iii), after sub-clause (k), the following sub-clause shall be inserted, namely :- "(1) supply of goods to the Maharashtra State Electricity Board for execution of Maharashtra Power Projects in terms of the Public Notice of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No. 31(RE : 99)/1997-2002, dated the 23rd September, 1999".
