Acrylic fibre originating in or exported from Japan , Spain , Portugal and Italy - Amendment to Notification No. 8/99-Cus. Notification No. 53/99-Cus. Dated 4-5-1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with rule 18 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 8/99-Customs, dated the 22nd January, 1999, namely :- In the said notification, in the paragraph beginning with the words "Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers", and ending with the words and letters "acrylic fibre per Kg.", for the words "the said acrylic fibre", the words "the said acrylic fibre, excluding modacrylic fibre," shall be substituted.
