Unwrought nickel for use in the manufacture of iron and steel - Amendment to Notification No. 12/97-Cus. Notification No. 11/99-Cus. Dated 1-2-1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 68 of the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1996 (33 of 1996), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 12/97-Customs, the 1st March, 1997, namely :- In the said notification, in the Table, against serial No. 14A, in column (2), in item (f), for the words and figure "unwrought nickel falling under sub-heading No. 7502.20", the words and figure "unwrought nickel falling under sub-heading No. 7502.10" shall be substituted.
