Rough ophthalmic blanks for manufacture of optical lenses - Amendment to Notification No. 23/98-Cus. Notification No. 76/98-Cus. Dated 13-10-1998 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 23/98-Customs, dated the 2nd June, 1998, namely : In the said notification, in the Table, for serial number 109 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely : (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) "109 70.15 Rough ophthalmic blanks, for manufacture of optical lenses 20% - -"
