CD-Rom containing books of educational nature, journals periodicals (magazines) or newspapers - Amendment to Notification No. 23/98-Cus. Notification No. 70/98-Cus. Dated 25-9-1998 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 23/98-Customs, dated the 2nd June, 1998, namely :- In the said notification, in the Table, for serial No. 203 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) "203 85.24 CD-ROMs containing books of educational nature, journals, periodicals (magazines) or news-papers Nil Nil -".
