Bisphenol-A originating in or exported from Japan - Anti-dumping duty Notification No. 63/98-Cus. Dated 14-8-1998 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9A read with sub-section (6) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with rule 23 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, and based upon the findings of the designated authority in the matter of review of anti-dumping duties on Bisphenol-A originating in or imported from Japan that there is dumping of bisphenol-A in India, the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in public interest so to do, hereby imposes on the said Bisphenol-A falling under Chapter 29 of the First Schedule to the said Act, originating in or exported from Japan, when imported into India, an anti-dumping duty at the rate of Rs. 8434/- (Rs. Eight thousand four hundred and thirty four only) per metric tonne.
