Leather Industry - Parts, Consumables and other items - Amendment to Notification No. 11/97-Cus. Notification No. 78/97-Cus. Dated 21-10-1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 11/97-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1997, namely : In List 3(A) appended to the said notification, - (a) for item 44, the following shall be substituted, namely.- "(44) Solvent soluble dye Acid Brown of Hue Nos. 75, 76, 97, 98, 126, 127, 144, 159, 160, 161, 162, 165, 188, 191, 194, 196, 214, 237, 256, 265, 268, 270, 282, 290, 298, 303, 310, 321, 322, 349, 355, 358, 359, 360, 362, 365, 373, 387, 396, 402, 422, 425, 432, 433, 434 or 447" : (b) for item 45, the following shall be substituted, namely, - "(45) Solvent soluble dye Acid Black of Hue Nos. 50, 52, 71, 76, 82, 83, 84, 85, 115, 132, 169, 172, 194, 209, 210, 213, 215, 221 or 234" : (c) in item 46, for the words and figure "Hue Nos. 133", the words and figures "Hue Nos. 115, 133" shall be substituted; (d) in item 47, for the words and figure "Hue No. 59", the words and figures "Hue Nos. 59 or 78" shall be substituted; (e) for item 48, the following shall be substituted, namely, - "48 Solvent soluble dye Acid Red of Hue Nos. 97, 119, 120, 167, 231, 234, 248, 283, 324, 362, 399, 404, 407 or 423"; (f) in item 49, for the words and figure "Hue Nos. 111" the words and figures "Hue Nos. 23, 99, 111" shall be substituted; (g) in item 50, for the words and figure "Hue Nos. 26", the words and figures "Hue Nos. 20, 26" shall be substituted; (h) in item 51, for the words and figure "Hue Nos. 51" the words and figures "Hue Nos. 51, 66" shall be substituted; (i) in item 52, for the words and figure "Hue Nos. 80" the words and figures "Hue Nos. 54, 80" shall be substituted; (j) in item 53, for the words and figure "Hue Nos. 96", the words and figures "Hue Nos. 96, 99" shall be substituted; (k) after item (53), the following items shall be added, namely, - "(54) Solvent soluble dye Direct Orange of Hue No. 61 (55) Solvent soluble dye Direct Brown of Hue Nos. 94 or 209 (56) Solvent soluble dye Direct Violet of Hue No. 46 (57) Solvent soluble dye Direct Black of Hue Nos. 120 or 155 and (58) Solvent soluble dye Direct Green of Hue No. 66".
