Catalysts originating in or exported from Denmark - Anti-dumping duty Notification No. 56/97-Cus. Dated 20-6-1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of the section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with rule 13 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, the Central Government, on the basis of preliminary findings of the designated authority, published in the Gazette of India. Extraordinary, Part I, Section I, dated the 7th May, 1997 that there is dumping in respect of the catalysts mentioned in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed and falling under Chapter 38 or Chapter 98 of the First Schedule to the said Act, and originating in or exported from Denmark, hereby imposes on the said catalysts, when imported into India, an anti-dumping duty at the rate specified in the corresponding entry, - (a) in column (3) of the said Table, where the said catalysts fall under Chapter 38 of the First Schedule to the said Act; (b) in column (4) of the said Table, where the said catalysts fall under Chapter 98 of the First Schedule to the said Act : Provided that in the case of catalysts mentioned at S. No. 1 of the said Table, the anti-dumping duty specified in column (3) or column (4), as the case may be, shall be levied, only when such catalysts are exported from Denmark. 2. This notification shall have effect up to and inclusive of the 19th day of December, 1997. TABLE S.
