Aircrafts and parts thereof imported for Defence purposes - Notification No. 39/96-Cus. - Amended Notification No. 60/96-Cus. Dated 22-8-1996 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 39/96-Customs, dated the 23rd July, 1996, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S.No. 10, in column (3), in Explanation (i), for the words "the certificate shall be signed by the Chief of Resources" the words "the certificate shall be signed by the Chief Controller of Research and Development (R)" shall be substituted.
