Deflection components - Effective rate of duty Notification No. 54/96-Cus. Dated 24-7-1996 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 36/96-Customs, dated the 23rd July, 1996, namely :- In list 9 to the said notification, after item (22), the following Items shall be added, namely :- "(23) Deflection components, namely :- (i) Deflection coil/yoke (ii) Linearity coil (iii) Width coil (24) Electron guns."
