Computer disk drive and floppy disk drive - Notification No. 59/95-Cus. amended Notification No. 10/96-Cus. Dated 24-1-1996 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 59/95-Customs, dated the 16th March, 1995, namely, - In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (1) against S. No. 1, for the entry in column (3), the following entry shall be substituted, namely, - "All goods other than - (i) computer printers capable of being used with one or more of the following, namely, - (a) automatic typewriters; (b) word processors; (c) office machines of sub-heading No. 8472.90 (ii) X-Y co-ordinate input devices (such as mouse, light pen, joy-stick) (iii) disc storage units, not separately housed (iv) hard disc drives and floppy disc drives, separately housed"; (2) against S.No. 2, for the entry in column (3), the entry "Hard disc drives or floppy disc drives, separately housed" shall be substituted.
