To setup a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology at Gwal Pahari Village Gurgaon-Faridabad Road , Gurgaon in the State of Haryana MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 30th July, 2009 S.O. 1867(E).- Whereas M/s. Metro Valley Business Park (P) Limited, has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the Act) to setup a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology at Gwal Pahari Village Gurgaon-Faridabad Road, Gurgaon in the State of Haryana; And whereas the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , has notified a total area of 10.393 hectares at Gwal Pahari village, Gurgaon-Faridabad Road, Gurgaon in the State of Haryana as Special Economic Zone in the Ministry of commerce and Industry notification No. S.O.1882(E), dated 6th November, 2007 ; And whereas M/s. Metro Valley Business Park (P) Limited has proposed to include additional area of 0.8236 hectares at Gwal Pahari Village, Gurgaon-Faridabad Road, Gurgaon in the State of Haryana as a part of that Special Economic Zone; And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the Act and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of section 3 of the Act for development and operation of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology sector at the said Gwal Pahari village on 27th February, 2009, Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Act and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 0.8236 hectares at Gwal Pahari Village, Gurgaon-Faridabad Road, Gurgaon in the State of Haryana, comprising of the Survey numbers and the area given in the Table below, to be included as a part of that Special Economic Zone, namely:- TABLE Sl.
