To set up a multi-product Special Economic Zone at Nagpur (MIHAN), District Nagpur in the State of Maharashtra MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 27th July, 2009 S.O.1842(E).- Whereas M/s. Maharashtra Airport Development Company, a private organisation in the State of Maharashtra, has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a multi-product Special Economic Zone at Nagpur (MIHAN), District Nagpur in the State of Maharashtra; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of Section 3 of the Act for an area of 2086 hectares to the above Special Economic Zone on 6th November, 2006; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006 , has notified areas of 1511.51 hectares and 66.90 hectares at above Special Economic Zone in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification numbers S.O. 845(E) dated 29th May, 2007 and S.O.144(E) dated 24th January, 2008 respectively; And whereas, M/s. Maharashtra Airport Development Company has proposed to include 18.75 hectares in the said Special Economic Zone; Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby notifies the remaining area of 18.75 hectares at above Special Economic Zone comprising of the survey/khasara numbers and the area given below in the Table, to be included as a part of that Special Economic Zone, namely:- TABLE Sl.
