Ceftazidime subjected to 25% duty - 7 ACA (Drug intermediate) - Duty reduced from 50% to 25% Notification No. 156/94-Cus. Dated 20-7-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. No. 3 in column (2), after item (xx) and the entry relating thereto, the following item and entry shall be 7 ACA." added, namely :-"(xxi) 3. No. 27/94-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1994 In the Table annexed to the said notification, (i) against S. No. 1, in column (2), item (v) and the entry relating thereto shall be omitted; (ii) against S. No. 3, in column (2), after item (xi) and the entry relating thereto, the following item and entry shall be added, namely, - "(xii) Ceftazidime".
