Amendments to Notifications No. 208/81-Cus., No. 104/86-Cus. and 16/88-Cus. Notification No. 29/94-Cus. Dated 1-3-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Depart ment of Revenue, specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. (a) In Heading A of the Schedule annexed to the said notification, - (i) Serial Numbers 176, 203, 204 and 267 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted; (ii) against Serial Number 91, for the entry, the entry "Phenytoin Sodium" shall be substituted; (iii) against Serial Number 146, for the entry, the entry "Acyclovir" shall be substituted; (iv) against Serial Number 159, for the entry, the entry "Amiodarone HCl" shall be substituted; (v) against Serial Number 162, for the entry, the entry "Baclofen Injection" shall be substituted; (vi) against Serial Number 205, for the entry, the entry "Interferon alpha-2b injection/Interferon alpha-2a injection" shall be substituted. (b) In Heading B of the Schedule annexed to the said notification, after serial number 56 and the entry relating thereto, the following serial number and entry shall be added, namely, - "57. Spare parts and accessories of goods specified at serial numbers 1 to 56 above". 2. No. 104/86-Cus toms, dated the 17th February, 1986. In the Table annexed to the said notification, after Sl. No. 5 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be added, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "6 Sodium Nitrate containing not more than 16.3% by weight of nitrogen Nil __ 7. Potassium Sulphate containing not more than 52% by weight of composite fertilizers Nil __ 8. Guano and other natural animal or vegetable fertilisers, whether or not mixed together but not chemically treated 45% ad valorem __". 3. No. 16/88-Cus toms, dated the 1st March, 1988. In the said notification, - (a) for the figures and words "50 per cent ad valorem ", the figures and words "45 per cent ad valorem " shall be substituted; in the Table,- (b) (i) Sl. No. 4 and the entries relating thereto, shall be omitted; (ii) after Sl. No. 29 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be added, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "30. Glyoxalic Acid Methy-lester Methylhemia-cetal (GMHA) Quinalphos 31. Methyl chloroformate Carbendazim".
