Amendments to Notification Nos. 213/88-Cus., No. 250/92-Cus. and No. 20/93-Cus. Notification No. 166/93-Cus. Dated 10-9-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. TABLE S. No. Notification No. and Date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. No. 213/88-Customs, dated the 30th June, 1988. In the opening paragraph, of the said notification, for the word and figure "Chapter 29", the words and figures "Chapter 29 or Chapter 30" shall be substituted. 2. No. 250/92-Customs, dated the 31st July, 1992. In the Table annexed to the said notification, S. No. 4 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted. 3. No. 20/93-Customs, dated the 28th February, 1993. In the Table annexed to the said notification, in column (3), against Sl. No. 55, after item number 3 and the entry relating thereto, the following item number and entry shall be inserted, namely :- "4. 8-DM".
