Nos. 192E 192F Notification No. 161/93-Cus. Dated 16-8-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) specified in the column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be further amended, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column 3 of the said Table. TABLE S. No. Notification No. Date Amendments (1) (2) (3) 1. 138/91-Customs, dated the 22nd October, 1991. In the said notification - (1) in paragraph 1 for the portion beginning with the words "The Inter-Ministerial Standing Committee on Mini Computer/Micro Computer and ending with the words, letters, figures and brackets "Department of Electronics No. 12(38) Comp/89, dated the 13th August, 1991 (GSR No. 526 (E))" the following shall be substituted, namely :- "the Inter-Ministerial Standing Committee for Hundred Percent Export Oriented Units in the Electronics Hardware Technology Parks (EHTP) and Software Technology Parks (STP) (hereinafter referred to as the Standing Com mittee) appointed by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of In dustry, Department of Industrial Develop ment No. S.O. 117(E) dated the 22nd February, 1993." (ii) after condition (10), the following condi tions shall be inserted, namely :- "(11) The Collector of Customs may, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed by him allow a unit to re-export the goods subject to the necessary permission being granted by the Chief Executive of the Software Technology Park. (12) The telematic infrastructure equip ments, if any, imported by the importer may also be utilised for the export of software developed by any other software develop ment unit." 2. 140-Cus/91, dated 22nd October, 1991. In the said notification in paragraph 1, for the portion beginning with the words "the Inter-Ministerial Standing Committee on Mini Computer/Micro Computer" and ending with the words, letters, figures and brackets 'Department of Electronics No. 12 (38) Comp/89, dated the 13th August, 1991 (GSR No. 526(E))' the following shall be substituted, namely :- "the Inter-Ministerial Standing Committee for Hundred Percent Export Oriented Units in the Electronics Hardware Technology Parks 1 (EHTP) and Software Technology Parks (STP) (hereinafter referred to as the Standing Committee) appointed by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of In dustry, Department of Industrial Development No. S.O. 11(E) dated the 22nd February, 1993." (ii) after condition (10), the following conditions shall be inserted, namely :- "(11) The Collector of Customs may, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed by him, allow a unit to re-export the goods subject to the necessary permission being granted by the Standing Committee. (12) The telematic infrastructural equipments, if any, imported by the importer may also be utilised for the export of software developed by any other software development unit."
