Materials imported against Special Value Based Advance Licence - Amendment to Notification No. 104/93-Cus. Notification No. 142/93-Cus. Dated 18-6-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amend ments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 104/93-Customs, dated the 16th March, 1993. namely :- In the said notification, in the Schedule, (a) under the heading "I-IMPORT", in the second paragraph, for the words, "from the date of clearance of the first consignment of import,", the words "from the date of issue of the said licence" shall be substituted; (b) under the heading "II-EXPORTS", in the second paragraph, for the words "from the date of clearance of the first consignment of im port", the words "from the date of issue of the said licence" shall be substituted.
