Exemption to goods imported into India from a foreign country for export to Bhutan and vice versa Notification No. 1/93-Cus. Dated 27-1 -1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 151/84-Customs, dated the 15th May, 1984, the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts, (a) all goods when imported into India from a foreign country for the purpose of export to Bhutan, from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), and the whole of the additional duty leviable thereon under section 3 of the said Customs Tariff Act; (b) all goods when imported into India from Bhutan for the purpose of export to a foreign country, from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), and the whole of the additional duty leviable thereon under section 3 of the said Customs Tariff Act; (c) all goods imported into India from Bhutan for the purpose of export to a foreign country and all goods imported into India from a foreign country for the purpose of export to Bhutan, when exported to the foreign country or, as the case may be, to Bhutan, from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the Second Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975).
