Amendment to Notification No. 13/81-Cus. [G.E. No. 127] Notification No. 137/91-Cus. Dated 22-10-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 13-Customs/8l, dated the 9th February, 1981 namely : - In paragraph 1 of the said notification, in condition (7), after the words, figures and brackets "on payment of duty of excise leviable on such articles under Section 3 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944)", the words "or when such duty is not leviable, on payment of customs duty on imported goods used for the purposes of manufacture of such articles in an amount equal to the customs duty leviable on such articles as if imported as such" shall be added.
