Amendments to Notification Nos. 208/81-Cus., 65/88-Cus. 144/88-Cus. Notification No. 102/91-Cus. Dated 25-7-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be amended or further amended as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. No. and the entry shall be sub stituted, namely: - "5. Compressed air breathing apparatus complete."; and (ii) against Sl. No. 8, for the words "Haemo-dialysors with and accessories/spares there of", the words "Haemodialysors standard accessories" shall be substituted; and (iii) Sl. No. 19 and the entry relating thereto shall be omitted. 2. 65/88-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1988. In the Table annexed to the said notification, under the heading "(C) OTHER MEDICAL EQUIPMENTS", Items 16, 19, 20, 37, 40, 54, 55, 61, 111, 112, 114, 115, 118 and 120 and the entries relating thereto, shall be omitted; 3. 144/88-Customs, dated the 27th April, 1988. In the said notification, in the opening paragraph, for the words and figures "Chapter 84, 85, 90 or 98", the words and figures "Chapter 84, 85, 90, 94 or 98" shall be substituted.
