Amendments to Notification Nos. 346/86-Cus. 347/86-Cus. Notification No. 101/91-Cus. Dated 25-7-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be further amended, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. TABLE S. No. Notification No. and Date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 346/86-Customs, dated the 16th June, 1986 In the said notification, against Sl. No. 9, in column (3) after item (xii), the item "(xiii) Brass ring" shall be inserted; 2. 347/86-Customs, dated the 16th June, 1986 In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) against Sl. No. 9, for the entry in column (4), the entry "Semiconductor devices, relays, switches, electronic valves and tubes, RF/IF coils, Flyback transformers" shall be substituted; (ii) against Sl. No. 11, for the entry in column (4), the entry "Capacitors, Resistors (other than heating resistors), RF/IF coils, lead tabs" shall be substituted; (iii) against Sl. No. 21, in column (4), for the words "capacitors," the words "capacitors including ceramic capacitors," shall be substituted; (iv) against Sl. No.24,- (a) in column (2), the figure "37" shall be inserted; (b) in column (4), for the words "coils and inductors.", the words "coils and inductors, resistors (other than heating resistors)." shall be substituted; (v) against Sl. No. 27, for the entry in column (3), the entry "Heat shrinkable PVC sleeving, tubing, film or ring" shall be substituted; (vi) against Sl. No. 28, in column (4), after the words "Magnetic tape", the word", Cassettes." shall be inserted; (vii) against 81. No. 29, for the entry in column (3), the entry "Insulating/taping material (including pocket carrier tape) in tape, roll or strip form with or without adhesives." shall be substituted; (viii) against Sl. No. 31, in column (3), for the entry against item (iv), the entry "Refractory bricks/plates/tiles/setting bats/blocks." shall be substituted.
