Amendments to Notification No. 49/90-Cus. [Chapter 39] Notification No. 70/91-Cus. Dated 25-7-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 49/90-Customs, dated the 20th March, 1990, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) against S. No. 04, in column (4), for the figures and words "125% ad valorem " the figures and words "100% ad valorem " shall be substituted; (ii) against S. No. 06, in column (4), for the figures and words "150% ad valorem " the figures and words "100% ad valorem " shall be substituted; (iii) for S. Nos. 07, 08, 09, 10 and 11 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. Nos. and entries shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "07 39.07 All goods 100% ad valorem 08 39.08 All goods 100% ad valorem 09 39.09 All goods 100% ad valorem 10 39.10 All goods 100% ad valorem 11 39.11 (i) Polysulphones (ii) Others 15% ad valorem 100% ad valorem ".
