Extention of validity period of customs Notification Nos. 19/85, 52/85, 514/86, 65/87, 71/87, 231/88, 333/88 and 25/90 Notification No. 36/91-Cus. Dated 25-3-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. TABLE S. No. Notification No. and dated Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 19/85-Customs, dated the 1st February, 1985. In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words, "31st day of March, 1991", the figures, letters and words, "31st day of March, 1992" shall be substituted. 2. 52/85-Customs, dated the 4th March, 1985. In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words, "31st day of March, 1991", the figures, letters and words, "31st day of March, 1992" shall be substituted. 3. 514/86-Customs, dated the 30th December, 1986. In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words, "31st day of March, 1991", the figures, letters and words, "30th day of June, 1991" shall be substituted. 4. 65/87-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1987. In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words, "31st day of March, 1991", the figures, letters and words, "31st day of March, 1992" shall be substituted. 5. 71/87-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1987. In the said notification, paragraph 2 shall be omitted. 6. 231/88-Customs, dated the 1st August, 1988. In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words, "31st day of March, 1991", the figures, letters and words, "31st day of March, 1992" shall be substituted. 7. 333/88-Customs, dated the 31st December, 1988. In the said notification, for paragraph 2, the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely:- "2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of January, 1989." 8. 25/90-Customs, dated the 20th March, 1990. In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words, "31st day of March, 1991", the figures, letters and words, "31st day of March, 1992", shall be substituted.
