Life saving drugs, medicines or equipments - Amendment to Notification No. 208/81-Cus. [G.E. No. 100] Notification No. 6/91-Cus. Dated 16-1-1991 In excerise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 208/81-Customs, dated the 22nd September, 1981, namely :- In the Schedule annexed to the said notification, under the heading "B. Life saving equipments", after item 55, the following item shall be inserted, namely :- "56. Enhanced Luminescence Analysers for AIDS, Hepatitis and other Analytes."
