Amendment to Notification No. 513/86-Cus. - G.E. No. 43 Notification No. 289/90-Cus. Dated 17-12-1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 513/86-Customs, dated the 30th December, 1986, namely :- In the said notification, - (i) in the opening portion, after the words "or the Oil India Limited, as the case may be," the words "or for replenishment of raw materials and components used in the manufacture of such goods already so supplied" shall be inserted; (ii) after paragraph 1, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely :- "1A. Notwithstanding anything contained in conditions (1) to (4) of paragraph 1, in a case where the goods in respect of which the said raw materials and components have been imported are already supplied as required under this notification, the importers may use such raw materials or components for the manufacture of any other goods."
