Amends notification No. 77/89 relating to specified capital goods required by the electronic industry Notification No. 111/90-Cus. Dated 20-3-1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 77/89-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1989, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) after Sl. No. 11 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :- 1 2 "11A. Automatic laser/abrasive trimming equipment for hybrid circuits"; (ii) against Sl. No. 18, for the entry in column (2), the entry "Automatic plating system for electronic components excluding PCB plating system" shall be substituted; (iii) Sl. No. 22 and the entry relating thereto shall be omitted; (iv) Sl. No. 26 and the entry relating thereto shall be omitted; (v) against Sl. No. 27, for the entry in column (2), the entry "Automatic wire cutting and stripping machine with or without welding/twisting attachment" shall be substituted; (vi) against Sl. No. 29, for the entry in column (2), the entry "Bare board tester for PCB" shall be substituted; (vii) after Sl. No. 32 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entry shall be inserted, namely: - 1. 2 "32A. Certifiers for floppy hard disk/computer tape."; (viii) for Sl. No. 40 and the entry relating thereto, following Sl. No. and entry shall be substituted, namely : - 1 2 "40. Dry film solder mask laminator."; (ix) Sl. No. 43 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted; (x) against Sl. No. 91, for the entry in column (2), the entry "Semi-automatic and automatic terminal/pin forming and/or assembly machine for potentiometer or coils" shall be substituted.
